The latest hot news doing rounds in Kollywood is undoubtedly the denial for an interview by actress Anoushka.  That Anoushka is the toast of Kollywood now in the aftermath of the huge success of her 'Arundhati' early this year is a well-known fact.  What is unknown is that the leading vernacular channel, which has reportedly taken up the distribution rights of her forthcoming Tamil film, approached her for an interview to be broadcast on the channel on Deepavali eve.

Anoushka had reportedly told the channel that she was 'too busy' and that she would try to accommodate time for them 'the next time' around.  The management of the channel though that Anoushka wouldn't have uttered these words and it could have been her manager's statement and had directly gone to the hotel where the lanky actress was put up in Chennai.

Only when they reached the hotel did they realize that it was actually Anoushka who had refused to give time for the interview.  They, however, didn't get angry on the actress when she emerged from her room to meet them.  "My face had gone really bad due to the rashes and lesions, probably due to the extreme heat in Chennai.  That's the only reason I refused the interview.  Please don't mind" were Anoushka's words to the crew which returned happily after the 'darshan' of the actress!
