Mumbai Indians Show Interest in Pacer Auqib Nabi

Auqib Nabi is expected to attract a lot of attention at the upcoming IPL
2026 auction next month. The fast bowler from Jammu and Kashmir is reportedly
being watched by three teams, including the Mumbai Indians. With the IPL
mini-auction less than a month away, all franchises are looking to strengthen
their squads with promising Indian players.
According to a TOI report, the 29-year-old Nabi recently attended a trial with
the Mumbai Indians at their Ghansoli training centre. This suggests that the
five-time IPL champions are seriously interested in him. However, Mumbai
Indians have only ₹2.75 crore left in their budget for the auction, which is
the lowest among all 10 teams.
