Google Notebook Adds New Lecture Mode Feature

Over the summer, Google’s Notebook LM got a lot of attention for its ability to turn uploaded files into podcast-style conversations. The tool could create realistic voices that discussed the material in a natural way. What made it really special was that users could also join these conversations. Hearing human-like voices talk about documents in such a natural and unscripted way felt both impressive and a little strange.

Many people spent weeks trying out the tool and exploring what it could do. Now, just in time for the holidays, Google Notebook has added a new feature called Lecture mode. Unlike the podcast-style conversations, Lecture mode creates a structured, single-voice audio presentation that sounds like a traditional classroom lecture.
