“Chennai Metro Green Line Faces Major Service Disruption”

Thousands of people faced problems on Tuesday as the Metrorail services on the green line, which runs between Chennai Central and the Airport via Koyambedu, were disrupted due to a technical fault.

The disruption caused a lot of inconvenience, especially for those traveling to the Airport. Commuters had to get off the train at Alandur station and switch to another train to continue their journey. This created long waits and crowded platforms, making it especially difficult for passengers carrying heavy luggage.

Many travelers expressed frustration over the sudden interruption, saying it affected their schedules and caused delays. The Chennai Metro authorities are investigating the technical issue and are expected to resume normal services as soon as possible.
