Karnataka CM Seeks Clarity from Rahul Gandhi

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has asked Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for clarity on the political situation in the state. Sources told India Today TV that Siddaramaiah mentioned there was “constant confusion” over a possible power struggle in the Karnataka Congress government.

Officials said Siddaramaiah is keen to expand his cabinet and wanted to meet Rahul Gandhi to discuss rumours about a leadership change in the state.

This comes at a time when there has been ongoing speculation about tensions within the Congress leadership in Karnataka. However, the party’s central leadership has repeatedly denied that there is any internal crisis.

Siddaramaiah’s request for a meeting shows that he wants clarity and stability in the government before making any major decisions regarding cabinet expansion or leadership arrangements.
