India Face New Zealand in Second T20

India will take on New Zealand in the second match of the five-match T20 International series today at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. The match will begin at 7:00 PM.

India, led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, are currently ahead in the series 1-0 after winning the first match by 48 runs. The team put up a strong performance in the opening game.

Young batter Abhishek Sharma played a quick and attacking knock, while Rinku Singh impressed with a powerful 44 runs off just 20 balls. With the ball, Varun Chakravarthy and Shivam Dube took two wickets each. Their efforts helped India restrict New Zealand to 190 runs while chasing a big target of 239.

Since winning the 2024 T20 World Cup, India have not lost any T20 International series. The team will look to continue their winning streak and build confidence as they prepare for the next T20 World Cup.
