Law Student Dies by Suicide in Kelambakkam

A 25-year-old law student died by suicide at her apartment in Kelambakkam, Chengalpet district, on Sunday. The incident has shocked her family, friends, and classmates.

The student, Anusha, was from Kallakurichi district. She was the daughter of Rajasekar, an AIADMK party functionary. Anusha was studying at a private law college in Kelambakkam and was living in an apartment near her college.

According to the police, Anusha had recently become friends with Nithyanandam, a businessman who runs an export company in Thiruvanmiyur. They reportedly met at a private gym in Adyar and got to know each other.

Police said they received information about the incident and rushed to the apartment. Her body was later sent for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to find out the exact reason behind her death.
