Major Naval Events Scheduled in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam is all set to host two major international naval events along its coastline in February 2026. The events, the International Fleet Review (IFR) and Milan-2026, will take place over two days, attracting naval forces, warships, aircraft, and delegates from around the world.

The International Fleet Review is scheduled for 18 February, where President of India Droupadi Murmu will review the fleet. The following day, 19 February, Milan-2026 will be held, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attending the event.

Key state leaders, including Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, will also be present during the ceremonies.

These events will showcase India’s naval capabilities and provide an opportunity for international naval forces to interact and share knowledge. Visakhapatnam, with its strategic coastal location, is expected to witness a grand display of warships, aircraft, and maritime technology during the two-day celebrations.
