Crispy and Spicy Chilli Fish Recipe
Chilli Fish is a tasty and tangy Indo-fusion dish. It is crunchy, full of flavor, and perfect as an appetizer or side dish. Serve it at dinner or parties, and everyone will enjoy it!
Ingredients:
For the Fish:
250 g boneless fish pieces
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
1/2 cup corn flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp chopped celery
1 tsp pepper
Salt, to taste
Oil, for frying
Chopped spring onions (for garnish)
For the Sauce:
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp chopped green chilli
4 tbsp soy sauce
5 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tbsp corn flour mixed with water
How to Make Chilli Fish:
Cut the fish into finger-sized pieces.
Make the batter: Mix corn flour, maida, baking powder, soy sauce, celery, pepper, salt, and a little water to make a smooth batter.
Dip the fish pieces into the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Place them on a plate.
Make the sauce: Heat some oil in a pan. Sauté garlic, ginger, and green chilli for a minute.
Add soy sauce, tomato sauce, and chilli sauce. Mix well.
Add the corn flour-water mix and cook until the sauce starts boiling. Remove from heat.
Pour the sauce over the fried fish and mix gently.
Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
