Gleneagles Hospital Chennai Adopts Perumbakkam Community Park to Support Daily Maintenance and Sanitation
In a continuing effort to strengthen community wellbeing and public infrastructure, Gleneagles Hospital, Chennai, part of the Fortis Healthcare network, has adopted Perumbakkam Community Park as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative to support the daily maintenance and sanitation of the park. Hon’ble Thiru Arvind Ramesh, MLA, Sholinganallur and Ms Niranjani, COO, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai inaugurated the park and opened for public use starting today.
Spread across approximately 2.5 to 3 acres, the park serves as a vital recreational space for residents of the Perumbakkam, featuring a range of amenities including a badminton court, yoga room, football ground, volleyball court, restroom facilities, and a dedicated children’s play area. Under this initiative, the hospital will support the park’s day-to-day maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness efforts, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and fitness enthusiasts who use the space regularly.

Park timings will be:
Monday to Saturday | 5:00am to 09:30am & 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Sunday – 05:00am to 10:30am & 4:00pm to 09:00pm
