Car Drags Bike, Sparks Fire in Bengaluru

A shocking hit-and-run incident took place in Bengaluru, Karnataka, when a speeding Toyota Innova crashed into a two-wheeler and dragged it along the road. The dramatic incident was captured on CCTV cameras and has since shocked many people.

The accident happened on Saturday evening at 1st Cross in Jayamahal, located in the RT Nagar area of the city. According to preliminary information given by the police, the Innova car hit a motorcycle from behind while moving at high speed.

Instead of stopping after the collision, the driver continued to drive the vehicle. The motorcycle became trapped under the car and was dragged along the road for some distance. The friction caused by the dragging reportedly led to sparks, and soon the bike caught fire.

CCTV footage from the area shows the car moving forward while the two-wheeler remained stuck underneath it. After a short distance, flames began to rise from the motorcycle, creating a frightening scene on the road.

Local residents and passers-by rushed to the spot after noticing the fire. Some people tried to alert the driver and help control the situation. The fire from the motorcycle caused panic in the area before it was eventually brought under control.

Police officials reached the location soon after the incident and began an investigation. They are examining the CCTV footage to identify the driver and understand exactly how the accident happened.
