Delhi Sees Rainfall and Cooler Weather
Delhi woke up to a cloudy Thursday morning on March 19, 2026, with light to moderate rainfall reported in several parts of the city. According to the India Meteorological Department, some areas received up to 12.5 mm of rain.
The weather department said that the minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 17.6°C, making the morning cooler than usual.
Different weather stations in Delhi reported varying amounts of rainfall. Safdarjung and Lodhi Road areas each recorded 8.2 mm of rain, while the Ridge station received 8.6 mm. Palam recorded slightly lower rainfall at 6.2 mm.
The cloudy skies and rain brought some relief from warmer conditions, and more such weather changes may continue depending on atmospheric conditions in the coming days.
