Iran Claims Success in Downing US Aircrafts

The conflict in West Asia intensified sharply on Saturday as Iranian attacks and air defense拦截 were reported across the Gulf, affecting civilian areas with falling debris. Missile and drone exchanges increased across multiple fronts. In Israel, Iranian missiles caused fires at an industrial site in southern Beersheba and damaged a residential building near Rosh Haayin.

Sirens sounded nationwide as air defense systems intercepted incoming projectiles. In Lebanon, authorities reported fresh Israeli airstrikes that destroyed two bridges in the south, raising concerns about continued cross-border escalation. A US Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle was reportedly shot down over Iran on Friday, with both crew members ejecting. One crew member has been rescued, while search operations continue for the second.

Iranian authorities urged civilians to assist in the search and offered a reward for information on the missing crew member. Additionally, Iran claimed that an A-10 Warthog close air support fighter was downed. The jet reportedly entered Kuwaiti airspace before the pilot ejected. Iranian state television also claimed that a US Black Hawk helicopter involved in the rescue mission was hit during operations. The helicopter returned to base, though crew members were reported injured.
