IPL: SRH’s Klaasen Confident Despite Poor Record Against CSK
Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is not worried about his past struggles against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Ahead of their high-stakes match during the IPL’s Rivalry Week, Klaasen expressed confidence in his abilities. He admitted that his aggressive batting against CSK’s spinners hasn’t yielded results so far, with scores like 61 runs across five innings and a low strike rate of 96.82.
However, Klaasen remains unfazed. He explained that playing at Chennai’s challenging venues, known for their spin-friendly wickets, can be tough but is now different since CSK has lost key players. For him, the focus is on improving his game and making the most of his opportunities when in form. Despite past failures, he believes consistency and adaptability will help him succeed.
Currently, Klaasen is in great form for SRH, scoring 145 runs in three matches with a strike rate of 147.95. His recent performance has made him the highest scorer for SRH and third overall in the IPL. With such confidence and skill, Klaasen is ready to face CSK head-on during Rivalry Week.
