Rohit Sharma’s Instagram Teases Netflix Project
Former India cricket captain Rohit Sharma has got his fans talking with a cryptic Instagram post. The cricketer shared a story featuring a cover page split between the Netflix logo and the Mumbai Indians (MI) logo, labeled “Draft #45” and dated April 9, 2026.
While it’s unclear what the post signifies, fans are buzzing with speculation. Some believe Rohit might be working on a movie or documentary. One fan even joked that his long-time teammate Virat Kohli could appear in a cameo if the project comes to life.
Rohit Sharma, who has retired from T20 and Test cricket, is currently playing for Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2026. He started with a strong 78-run innings against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but struggled in his next matches, scoring only five runs in a rain-interrupted game against Rajasthan Royals.
Despite these highs and lows, Mumbai Indians are aiming to win their sixth IPL title. They currently sit eighth in the standings with just two points from three matches. Their next challenge is against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.
