Chennai Wins 32-Run IPL Match

Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 32 runs in an Indian Premier League match on Tuesday. Left-arm spinners Noor Ahmad and Akeal Hosein were key to Chennai’s victory, taking advantage of a slow pitch. Ahmad took three wickets for just 21 runs, while Hosein restricted Kolkata to 160-7 with his tight bowling.

Chennai scored 192-5 thanks to a strong start in the power play, where Ayush Mhatre and Sanju Samson contributed significantly. Mhatre hit 38 runs quickly, and Samson started with three boundaries. Kolkata struggled despite some good batting, including Sunil Narine’s 24-run innings. However, they couldn’t overcome Chennai’s disciplined bowling, led by Anshul Kamboj and Khaleel Ahmed.

Kolkata is still without a win in the tournament after four losses. They were unable to chase down the target due to poor performances in critical moments and some crucial dropped catches. Despite contributions from Rinku Singh and Ramandeep Singh, their middle-order collapse ultimately cost them the game.
