New Government Forming: UDF’s Cabinet Discussions

The United Democratic Front (UDF), led by the Congress party, is preparing to form its new government on Monday, 18 May. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 10 am at Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Senior Congress leader VD Satheesan will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Kerala.

Along with Satheesan, members of his Council of Ministers will also be sworn in during the official event. The ceremony is expected to be attended by party leaders, alliance members, supporters, and other important guests.

As the UDF gets ready to assume power, discussions are still ongoing regarding the final list of ministers and the distribution of key portfolios. Important departments such as finance, home, education, and health are still under negotiation among alliance partners.
