Shreyas Iyer Warns Team to Stay Mentally Strong Despite Rain Challenges

India’s T20I captain Shreyas Iyer has urged his team to avoid using the rainy conditions as an excuse ahead of their Asian Games quarter-final against Afghanistan. The persistent rain in Nisshin has caused disruptions, with heavy showers expected on matchday as well.

“We cannot use rain as an excuse. We must adapt quickly. We had some practice today despite the heavy downpour, and we will focus on adjusting to the conditions when the match starts,” Iyer said.
