Boney Kapoor, Salman Khan Share 20-Year Bond
Boney Kapoor and Salman Khan have had a professional relationship for
more than 20 years. Their journey together began with the 1999 film Sirf Tum,
which marked the start of a long-standing collaboration between the producer
and the actor. Over the years, they worked together on several successful
projects, including the comedy hit No Entry in 2005 and the action-packed
film Wanted in 2009, both of which were major box office successes and
strengthened their professional bond.
Despite their long history of working together, not every project went as planned.
One such film was the Hindi remake of Ghajini. Boney Kapoor revealed in a recent
interview that he had wanted Salman Khan to play the lead role in the remake.
However, the project eventually went to Aamir Khan, who starred in the film instead.
Boney Kapoor’s comments highlight the long-standing professional admiration and
trust he has for Salman Khan. Over the years, their collaborations have brought
several blockbuster hits to Bollywood, showcasing a partnership that has lasted
for more than two decades. Even though some projects like Ghajini didn’t work out
with Salman, their mutual respect and successful past collaborations remain an
important part of both their careers.
