Mahindra Honors Tamil Superstar Ajith’s Racing Passion with Unique SUV!

Mahindra Group has surprised international racing driver and Tamil cinema superstar, Ajith Kumar, with the world’s first Formula E themed SUV. This unique vehicle, valued at approximately ₹30 lakhs, is a special recognition of his passion for motorsports.

Recently, Ajith Kumar has been actively participating in international car races through his team, ‘Ajith Kumar Racing.’ On his return to Chennai after competing in Dubai, he was greeted with this pleasant surprise. Mr. R. Velusamy, President of Automotive Technology and Product Development at Mahindra & Mahindra, personally handed over the keys to Ajith.

This Formula E Edition SUV is no ordinary vehicle. It represents 12 years of experience in electric car racing, distilled into a road-legal machine. The design features exclusive graphics and colors used in Formula E racing cars, with a Tango Red finish. The performance includes a powerful battery pack that offers a range of approximately 683 km on a single charge.

The interior boasts sporty racing seats and a racing-style start/stop switch. This is a special edition within the ‘BE 6’ series, making it truly unique. When Ajith Kumar drove Mahindra’s Formula E car in Spain, Chairman Anand Mahindra praised him as a “superb blend of speed and style.”

As Ajith begins working on his next film, ‘AK 64,’ this recognition has sparked immense excitement among his fans. This electric SUV is considered a significant milestone for Ajith Kumar, who already owns high-end vehicles like the McLaren Senna and Ferrari.
