Vijay Sethupathi Stars in Silent Film Gandhi Talks

Actors Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy and Aditi Rao Hydari will soon be seen in a silent film titled ‘Gandhi Talks’. The film is being described as a bold and unique project, and the makers have now announced its release date.

‘Gandhi Talks’ is directed by Kishore Belekar, who said that the film is built around silence and emotions, rather than dialogue. Speaking about the concept, the director explained that the idea was to return to the roots of cinema.

According to him, early films relied mainly on expressions, body language and emotions, not spoken words. ‘Gandhi Talks’ follows the same style, focusing on pure acting and emotional storytelling.

“As Indian cinema completes more than a hundred years of storytelling, we wanted to go back to its most basic form—strong performances and deep emotions,” Belekar said. He added that the film is about trusting silence to tell a powerful story.

The film has already created curiosity among audiences for its unusual format and strong cast.
