Crispy Keema Pattice Recipe for Snack Lovers
Keema Pattice is a tasty snack that’s perfect for weekends or for serving to guests.
Ingredients (for about 6-8 pattice)
300 g cooked minced mutton
1 ½ cups breadcrumbs
2 eggs
3 small onions, chopped
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp crushed garlic
½ tsp turmeric (haldi)
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 tsp coriander seed powder
Salt, to taste
Oil, for frying
How to Make Keema Pattice
Cook the mutton:
Put the minced mutton in a pressure cooker.
Add a little oil, garlic, and turmeric.
Cook for 3-4 whistles.
Mix the vegetables and herbs:
Transfer the cooked mutton to a bowl.
Add chopped onions, green chillies, and coriander leaves. Mix well.
Add spices and cornflour:
Add garam masala, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander seed powder, salt, and cornflour.
Mix everything together to form a soft dough.
Shape the pattice:
Make equal-sized tikkis from the mixture.
Dip each tikki in beaten eggs.
Coat them with breadcrumbs.
Fry the pattice:
Heat a tawa or frying pan with some oil.
Place the tikkis and shallow fry until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
