Healthy Vegetable Roti Recipe for Anytime Meal
This healthy vegetable roti is perfect anytime and is made with whole wheat flour and a mix of vegetables. It goes well with plain curd.
Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)
1 cup boiled mixed vegetables
1 tsp roasted cumin (jeera) powder
1.5 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped onion
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
Black salt and regular salt, to taste
½ tsp oil
How to Make Vegetable Roti
Mash the vegetables:
Take the boiled mixed vegetables in a bowl.
Add onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, lemon juice, cumin powder, black pepper, and salt.
Mash everything well.
Make the dough:
Add the wheat flour (atta) to the vegetable mixture.
Knead the dough with lukewarm water until soft.
Shape the rotis:
Divide the dough into small balls.
Flatten them into round rotis by hand.
Cook the rotis:
Brush a little oil on the rotis.
Cook on medium-low flame until golden and cooked through.
Serve:
Serve the hot vegetable roti with curd (dahi). Enjoy!
