Ingredients
For Momos:
7–8 momos (steamed or pan-fried)
For Manchurian Sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tbsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp green chili sauce
1 tsp Schezwan sauce
1/2 tsp brown sugar
2 tbsp chopped cilantro (coriander leaves)
2 tbsp chopped spring onion
2 tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped capsicum
2 tbsp chopped bell peppers
2 tbsp chopped carrot
1 tsp garlic-ginger paste
How to Make Momo Manchurian
Heat some oil in a pan. Add garlic-ginger paste and cook for 1 minute until it smells fragrant.
Add all the sauces (soy, vinegar, Schezwan, green chili) and let them simmer for 5–10 minutes. This will make the sauce flavorful.
Add black pepper, salt, brown sugar, and all the chopped vegetables. Stir fry for 5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly soft but still a little crunchy.
Add the pan-fried momos to the sauce and mix gently so they get fully coated with the sauce.
Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes, so the momos absorb the sauce and become extra tasty.
Serve the Momo Manchurian on a plate and garnish with chopped cilantro and spring onions for extra flavor.
