₹100 Crore Sanctioned for Jaggayyapeta Water Project
Vijayawada Member of Parliament Kesineni Sivanath said that the State government has approved ₹100 crore to permanently solve the long-standing drinking water problems in Jaggayyapeta town. He said the funds will be used to improve water supply infrastructure so that residents get safe and regular drinking water.
The MP also announced that a Defence Corridor will be set up in the region. He said this project will help bring development, create jobs, and boost the local economy.
Kesineni Sivanath made these announcements while speaking at a felicitation ceremony held at the Jaggayyapeta Agricultural Market Committee (AMC) yard. The event was organized to mark the assumption of office by AMC Chairperson Mallela Seethamma and 13 newly elected Directors.
He congratulated the new chairperson and directors and urged them to work honestly for the welfare of farmers and the people of the town. He also assured that the government would continue to support development projects in the region.
