14-Year-Old Suryavanshi Hits Century in South Africa

Vaibhav Suryavanshi continued his excellent form with the bat by scoring another century on Wednesday against South Africa in the third India U-19 vs South Africa U-19 youth ODI held in Benoni. India had already won the first two matches, so the third game was a dead rubber.

Sent in to bat first, Suryavanshi dominated the South African bowlers, hitting the ball all over the field. Carrying his momentum from the second game, he reached 100 runs off just 63 balls, completing his sixth century in six different countries.

At just 14 years old, Suryavanshi now has scored centuries in India, Australia, England, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar. Previously, he scored a 52-ball hundred against England U-19 in 2025 and a 56-ball century against UAE in the Rising Stars Asia Cup last year.

Suryavanshi’s consistent performance has made him one of the most promising young talents in Indian cricket, and his record of centuries across multiple countries is a rare achievement for someone so young. His explosive batting continues to attract attention from cricket fans and experts alike.
