AIADMK Almost Like BJP in Tamil Nadu

With elections coming soon in Tamil Nadu, South First spoke to Thangam Thennarasu, a senior DMK leader and the state Finance Minister. He is contesting from the Tiruchuli seat.

During the interview, Thennarasu shared his views on governance, economic growth, welfare schemes, and the current political situation in the state. He spoke about the importance of improving the economy and continuing welfare programs that benefit the people.

He also criticized the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), saying that it is acting like a branch of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu. According to him, this is not good for the state’s independent political identity.

Thennarasu said that voters should choose leaders who focus on development and public welfare. He stressed that the upcoming elections are important for the future of the state and its people.

Overall, he highlighted the need for strong leadership, better policies, and continued efforts to improve the lives of citizens in Tamil Nadu.
