“AIADMK, PMK Announce Alliance in Tamil Nadu”

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Wednesday announced a political alliance with the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), which is led by Anbumani Ramadoss. He described the partnership as a “natural alliance” and said it was formed to defeat what he called the DMK’s “anti-people” government and to form a strong and stable government in Tamil Nadu.

Speaking to reporters at his camp office on Greenways Road, Palaniswami said the alliance was created based on the wishes of party leaders, office-bearers, and grassroots workers of both AIADMK and PMK. He added that the cooperation between the two parties reflects the expectations of their supporters.

PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss was present during the announcement and stood alongside Palaniswami while addressing the media. Leaders from both parties expressed confidence that the alliance would work together effectively to win the support of the people of Tamil Nadu in the upcoming political battle.
