Barcelona Reclaim League Lead With 3-0 Win
FC Barcelona moved back to the top of the Spanish league table after a comfortable 3-0 win over Levante UD. The victory came after rivals Real Madrid CF slipped up with a 2-1 defeat against CA Osasuna on Saturday.
Barcelona made full use of Real Madrid’s loss and returned to winning ways. The team had lost its previous two matches, but this performance helped them regain confidence and climb back to the top of the league standings.
Marc Bernal opened the scoring to give Barcelona an early advantage. Frenkie de Jong added the second goal with a calm finish, increasing the pressure on Levante. Later, Fermín López scored the third goal to seal the victory.
Levante, who are fighting to avoid relegation, struggled to create clear chances. Barcelona controlled possession for most of the match and kept the defence solid.
The win not only ended Barcelona’s two-game losing streak but also helped them overtake Real Madrid in the title race. With the season entering a crucial phase, the battle for the league title is expected to remain tight between the two Spanish giants.
