BJP Chief Attacks CM Over Governance

Karnataka BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra strongly criticised Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, accusing the Congress government of failing to solve the state’s major issues. He alleged that instead of addressing what he described as the “burning problems” of Karnataka, the government was misleading the public.

Speaking at a press conference held at the BJP State Office, Vijayendra said that Siddaramaiah, who has presented the State Budget a record 16 times, should focus on giving solutions rather than making excuses. He pointed out that the Chief Minister has broken the earlier record set by former Chief Minister Devaraj Urs in presenting the highest number of Budgets in the state.

Vijayendra also criticised Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. He said both leaders should stop what he called “lying and cheating” and instead concentrate on governance. According to him, the people of Karnataka are facing serious issues such as rising prices, unemployment, and infrastructure problems, and they expect concrete action from the government.

He questioned why, despite presenting so many Budgets over the years, the Chief Minister has not been able to resolve key concerns affecting the public. Vijayendra added that experience should translate into effective administration and visible improvements in the state.

The BJP leader said his party would continue to raise these issues and hold the Congress government accountable. Meanwhile, there has been no immediate response from the Chief Minister or the Deputy Chief Minister regarding the allegations.

The remarks have added to the ongoing political tensions between the BJP and the ruling Congress government in Karnataka.
