Blast During Forensic Test Kills Nine in J&K

The central government said on Saturday that the blast at the Nowgam police
station in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday night happened during a forensic testing
procedure. At least nine people died, and the number may increase.

According to a source, forensic teams had been collecting and preparing samples
for the past two days, and they were supposed to submit them late Friday night.
The explosion took place in the police station’s open area, where explosives
recovered from a terror module linked to the Red Fort blast were being stored.
