Bomb Threat Emails Sent to Delhi Schools

At least three private schools in New Delhi received bomb threat emails on
Thursday (November 20, 2025) morning. An official said the threats immediately
led to multiple security agencies rushing to the schools and starting detailed
search operations.

The schools that got the emails include the British School in Chanakyapuri and
the Modern School in Barakhamba. Police teams, bomb squads, and dog squads were
sent to the campuses to check every building and ensure the safety of students
and staff.

As a precaution, students were asked to stay indoors or were safely moved to open
areas while the searches took place. Parents were informed about the situation,
and many of them rushed to the schools.

Officials said they were treating the emails seriously and were trying to trace
the source of the threat. Early reports suggested that the messages may have been
sent from fake or unverified accounts.

Police have said that more information will be shared after the investigation is
complete.
