Chennai Metro Airport Route Temporarily Suspended

The direct metro train from Chennai Central Railway Station to the airport via Koyambedu will be temporarily suspended due to a technical problem.

Passengers traveling on the Koyambedu route can get off at Alandur Metro Station and switch to the Blue Line to reach the airport.

Chennai Metro has two main lines: the Green Line and the Blue Line. The Green Line runs from Chennai Central via Koyambedu to the Airport and Parangimalai, while the Blue Line runs from Wimco Nagar via Saidapet to the Airport.

Other services are not affected. Trains between Chennai Central and Parangimalai on the Green Line, and all Blue Line trains, will run as usual.
