FC Goa Out of AFC Champions League

In football, FC Goa ended their AFC Champions League Two 2025–26 campaign with a narrow 2–1 loss to Istiklol in a Group D match at the PJN Stadium in Margao, Goa, on Wednesday night.

With this result, FC Goa finished at the bottom of the group with zero points from six matches in their first-ever appearance in the tournament. FC Goa, who were still searching for their first point, took an early lead in the eighth minute when Dejan Dražić found space inside the box and scored with a fine curling shot into the top right corner.
