Gas Cylinder Backlogs Ease Amid Booking Restrictions

Restrictions on booking cooking gas cylinders are still in place, and distributors say they are now focusing on clearing the pending orders with the limited supply they receive. Because of this, delivery delays are slowly improving. Depending on the gas company and the agency, customers now wait anywhere between four and 12 days to receive their refills.

Distributors explained that earlier there was a lot of panic among people, which led to a surge in bookings. However, this situation has now calmed down. The restrictions on bookings, along with regular deliveries, have helped reduce the pressure.

One distributor in the city said that customers are now more patient. Instead of getting angry or arguing, many people visit the agency directly to check when their cylinder will be delivered. Overall, while the supply is still limited, the situation is becoming more stable as backlogs are gradually being cleared.
