Gold Prices Rise Again After Recent Dip
Gold prices have been fluctuating a lot in recent days, moving up and down frequently. On the 29th of last month, the price of one gram of gold had gone up sharply to ₹16,800. After that, the rate did not remain stable and kept changing every day.
In Chennai, the price dropped over the past few days. The day before yesterday, one gram of gold was sold at ₹13,950. This fall in price brought some relief to customers and jewellery buyers.
However, the drop did not last long. Gold prices increased again yesterday. The price rose by ₹320 per gram, taking the rate to ₹14,270.
The increase also affected the price of a sovereign (8 grams). The price of one sovereign went up by ₹2,560. It rose from ₹1,11,600 to ₹1,14,160.
Jewellers say that gold prices continue to change due to global market trends, demand, and currency movements. Customers are closely watching the rates before making purchases, as prices are not steady.
