India Women Aim Second Win Against Sri Lanka
After a strong win in the first match at Visakhapatnam, the Indian women’s team
will aim to register their second straight victory when they face Sri Lanka in the
second T20 International on Tuesday. This is India’s first white-ball series since
their historic ICC Women’s World Cup campaign held at home a few months ago.
In the first match, India put up an excellent bowling performance. The Indian
bowlers restricted Sri Lanka to less than 130 runs. For Sri Lanka, Vishmi Gunaratne
was the top scorer. For India, Kranti Gaud, Deepti Sharma, and Shree Charani each
took one wicket.
