Indian Diplomat Meets Myanmar’s New Government Representatives

India’s Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, recently visited Nay Pyi Taw to meet leaders of Myanmar’s new government. During his visit, he held important talks with Vice Presidents U Nyo Saw and Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye. He also met Myanmar’s Foreign Minister, U Tin Maung Swe.

After the meetings, Singh shared a message on social media. He said that India is committed to building a stronger relationship with Myanmar in many areas such as trade, connectivity, and regional cooperation. He stressed that both countries can benefit by working closely together.

Singh also spoke about the strong historical and cultural ties between India and Myanmar. He said the two nations have been connected for many years through shared traditions, people-to-people links, and mutual respect. In addition, both countries are close neighbors, sharing not only a land border but also maritime connections.

He expressed hope that this visit would help improve cooperation and trust between the two sides. According to him, strengthening ties with Myanmar is important for regional stability and development.
