India’s First Bullet Train Expected by 2027
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Wednesday that India is likely to get its first Bullet Train on August 15, 2027. He shared this information while speaking to the media in New Delhi.
The Minister said that India’s first Bullet Train project is currently under construction between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. This high-speed rail project aims to greatly reduce travel time between the two cities.
He added that the first part of the project to become operational will be the stretch between Surat and Bilimora. After that, the section from Vapi to Surat will be opened.
The Bullet Train project is expected to mark a major step forward in India’s railway development and modern transport system.
