Jothimani Slams Infighting in Tamil Nadu Congress

Congress Lok Sabha MP S. Jothimani on Friday said that the Congress party in Tamil Nadu is slowly moving towards decline because of the selfish behaviour of a few leaders. She said internal fights within the party are causing serious concern and pain to party workers and supporters.

Expressing strong disagreement with the current situation, Ms. Jothimani said that the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) is moving in a direction that goes against the values and principles followed by senior leader Rahul Gandhi. She said the party’s present approach is the opposite of the selfless, honest and fearless politics that Rahul Gandhi stands for.

The MP warned that continuous infighting and personal interests are harming the party’s growth in the state. She stressed that unity and discipline are essential if the Congress wants to regain strength and public trust in Tamil Nadu.

Her comments have once again highlighted the growing internal issues within the Tamil Nadu Congress unit.
