Khele Sanand Season 3 comes to a rousing end with Andej, DG School being crowned U-14 Kabaddi champions

Khele Sanand Season 3 ended on March 30 in Sanand, Gujarat, with exciting matches and strong performances from young athletes.

In the U-14 Kabaddi finals, the Andej boys’ team won the title by defeating Shela with a big score of 62-21. In the girls’ U-14 Kabaddi final, DG School played very well and beat Zamp Girls 102-18 to become champions.

At the closing ceremony, Chintan Gaja, who is a Ranji player and captain of the Gujarat cricket team, praised the event. He said such tournaments help young players grow and encouraged the organizers to include more sports in future seasons so more children can take part.

Earlier in the tournament, Telav performed strongly by winning both the boys’ and girls’ Kho-Kho titles. Mankol also continued its good form by winning the Kabaddi Open title again and also taking the Volleyball Open title.

This season saw record participation, with 7,160 athletes from 105 villages competing in four different sports. Athletics was introduced for the first time and attracted 3,160 participants from 107 schools, making the event even bigger.

Over the past three seasons, Khele Sanand has grown quickly, with participation doubling in just two years. The event is organized by the Vijayi Bharat Foundation and aims to promote traditional Indian sports and support young talent in rural areas.
