King Charles Strips Prince Andrew of Titles
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, earlier known as His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, Duke of York, has been making headlines again for negative reasons. His past connection with the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, has brought renewed global attention and criticism.
Prince Andrew’s association with Epstein has been controversial for years. Epstein was accused of serious crimes, including running a sex trafficking network. After Epstein’s arrest and death, several people linked to him came under public and legal scrutiny. Andrew’s friendship with Epstein has raised many questions and damaged his public image.
Now, King Charles III has said he is ready to fully cooperate with U.K. police if they decide to investigate any alleged wrongdoing involving his younger brother. The King has made it clear that the law should take its course and that no one should receive special treatment.
In late 2025, King Charles took strong action by removing Andrew’s royal titles and privileges. Andrew can no longer use the title “His Royal Highness” and has stepped away from all official royal duties. He is also no longer representing the royal family at public events.
This decision is seen as an effort to protect the reputation of the British monarchy and maintain public trust. Royal observers say the family wants to distance itself from the controversy and show that it takes such allegations seriously.
The issue continues to draw international attention, and any further investigation by the police could lead to new developments in the case.
