Kohli, Yuvraj Condole Rinku’s Father’s Death
Former India cricketers Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh have expressed their condolences to Rinku Singh after the death of his father, Khanchand Singh. He passed away on Friday at a private hospital in Greater Noida after fighting a serious illness for a long time.
According to Rinku’s former coach, Masood Amini, who spoke to the news agency PTI, Khanchand Singh had been receiving treatment for several days. In the last three to four days, his condition became critical and he was placed on ventilator support. A hospital spokesperson, Dr. Sunil Kumar, said that he was suffering from advanced liver cancer, which worsened in recent days.
After the sad news, many current and former cricketers shared their messages of support for Rinku Singh and his family on social media. Virat Kohli wrote that he was deeply saddened to hear about the loss. He offered his heartfelt prayers and said he hoped Rinku and his family would find strength during this difficult time. Kohli ended his message with “Om Shanti,” praying for peace for the departed soul.
Yuvraj Singh and other members of the cricket community also shared their condolences, standing with Rinku in his time of grief. The cricket fraternity has come together to support the young player and his family as they go through this painful loss.
