Modi Calls Budget Human-Centric and Historic
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the Union Budget 2026–27 is focused on people and aims to strengthen the country’s growth. He said the Budget includes many important reforms that will help India develop in the long term and improve the lives of citizens.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Budget in Parliament yesterday. After the presentation, the Prime Minister described the Budget as historic. He said it will speed up reforms and support faster economic growth.
Mr Modi said the Budget proposals will boost the economy, support common people, and create new opportunities for young Indians. He added that these steps will help the youth achieve their goals and play a bigger role in the nation’s progress.
Calling the government’s reform plan a “Reform Express,” he said India is already moving ahead with many changes, and this Budget will give even more speed and strength to that progress. He said the new reforms will give talented and hardworking youth better chances to succeed.
Talking about India’s global goals, the Prime Minister said the country wants to move higher in the world economy. With strong policies and regular reforms, India can become one of the leading economies in the world.
Overall, Mr Modi said the Budget shows the government’s commitment to development, innovation, and growth for all. He expressed confidence that it will help build a stronger and more prosperous India.
