Pakistani Nationals Required to Reapply for Long-Term Visas by July 10

The government has asked all Pakistani citizens living in India on Long-Term Visas (LTVs) to submit new applications by July 10. This decision affects all Pakistani nationals who want to continue staying in India legally.

Officials said that many Pakistani nationals living in India on LTVs have not updated their information for a long time. Some people have also changed their addresses or moved to different states without informing the authorities. To keep records clear and updated, the government has now made it mandatory for all of them to apply again.

The Ministry of Home Affairs sent a notice to local police stations and Foreigners Registration Offices across the country. They instructed officers to inform all Pakistani nationals in their area about this rule. Officers must also help them fill out the new application forms and send the documents to the right departments before the deadline.

Anyone who fails to submit a fresh application by July 10 may lose their legal status in India. The government may also cancel their existing visa. Officials warned that if someone continues to stay in India without a valid visa, they could face legal action or even deportation.

People who want to apply must provide several documents. These include their original LTV, proof of residence, identity documents, and any other paperwork the local office requires. Applicants should visit their nearest police station or Foreigners Registration Office as soon as possible to avoid last-minute delays.

The government is taking these steps to improve security, manage immigration better, and make sure all foreign nationals follow the rules. Officials also said this move will help create a more transparent and efficient visa system.

Pakistani nationals who wish to continue living in India must act quickly. By applying before the July 10 deadline, they can avoid legal problems and stay in the country without any issues.
