PM Modi Greets Indians on Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to Indians around the world on the occasion of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas. In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister said that the Indian diaspora plays an important role in connecting India with the rest of the world.
He said that Indians living abroad have made positive contributions to the countries where they live. At the same time, they have maintained strong ties with their culture, traditions, and roots in India.
The Prime Minister described the Indian diaspora as “Rashtradoots,” or ambassadors of the nation, saying they have helped spread Indian culture, values, and traditions globally.
He also said that the government has taken several steps to strengthen the bond between India and its diaspora, and to ensure that Indians living abroad feel more connected to their homeland.
