PM Modi Mourns Death of Tripura Speaker

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said he was saddened by the death of Tripura Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen. In a social media post, he said Mr. Sen would be remembered for his work towards Tripura’s development and his commitment to social causes. He also expressed his condolences to Mr. Sen’s family and supporters.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also expressed sorrow over Mr. Sen’s death. In his social media message, he said Mr. Sen would always be remembered for his selfless service to the people.
