PM Modi Pays Tribute to Charan Singh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tribute to former Prime Minister and
Bharat Ratna awardee Chaudhary Charan Singh on his birth anniversary.

In a social media post, Mr Modi said that Chaudhary Charan Singh devoted his
life to helping the poor and weaker sections of society. He also worked hard
for the development of agriculture and the welfare of farmers. The Prime Minister
said the country will always remember his important contributions to building the nation.
