Revanth Reddy’s Remarks Trigger Assembly Row

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy created a major political controversy in the State Assembly after he used strong and aggressive language while replying to criticism from the Opposition. His remarks were mainly directed at former Chief Minister and BRS leader K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).

During the heated discussion, Mr. Revanth Reddy reacted sharply to comments questioning his government’s commitment to Telangana and its farmers. Referring to earlier statements made by Mr. KCR, the Chief Minister used harsh words and said that he would respond strongly to anyone who doubts his loyalty to the State.

He said that people are free to criticise the government and express their opinions. However, he warned that questioning his dedication to Telangana and its farmers would not be tolerated. His comments included violent and threatening language, which immediately drew criticism from the Opposition benches.

The Opposition accused the Chief Minister of lowering the dignity of the Assembly and demanded that such language should not be used in a democratic forum. They said leaders must maintain restraint and respect while debating serious issues.

The remarks quickly sparked a political storm, with reactions pouring in both inside and outside the Assembly. The incident has once again highlighted the growing tension between the ruling Congress government and the Opposition in Telangana politics.
