Ricky Bhui’s Century Lifts Andhra Pradesh
Ricky Bhui helped Andhra Pradesh with a strong century against Delhi in their ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy match on Wednesday at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence ground in Bengaluru. Batting at number four, Bhui scored 122 runs off 105 balls, which helped the Nitish Kumar Reddy-led team cross 250 runs against a strong Delhi side that included Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant.
Bhui came in to bat after KS Bharat was out. He and Shaik Rasheed added 92 runs together to steady the Andhra Pradesh innings. Rasheed scored 31 before getting out, but Bhui continued to play attacking shots. He later shared a 72-run partnership with captain Nitish Kumar Reddy, who scored 23 runs, for the fourth wicket.
